Broadus Wood has an extensive play area, softball field, exercise track, and soccer field; these serve as a community park after hours. She specializes in kinesthetic training, which is a school focus. According to school principal Barbara Edwards, "a recent goal of our school was to better coordinate and connect content learning through physical education, art and music”.
